Artist Statement:

Choosing just one thing to focus on in "Repairing the World" was unfortunately hard given its current state.  I chose to throw it back to an era where environmentalism really started coming into fruition, the 1960s + 1970's.  Although most are aware of the current environmental crisis, I believe it is not prioritized as much as it should be. It's time to re-prioritize the planet, and step back into being "Green" as our duty in be a good hearted, aware, kind (and groovy) human being!

Artist Bio:

Sammy Conrad is a Chicago based, freelance graphic designer and yoga instructor.  Sam loves working with start-up companies, entrepreneurs, and anyone with a "vision".  A big part of her design process and inspiration starts with hearing people's stories.  Sam was honored to create a shirt design this year after watching her dad, Rick Conrad create rad designs for "Give A Shirt" since it began.
