Artist Statement:
It comes from a song I’m currently working on called Big Red Angel which incorporates a bunch myths and legends common to many cultures about a fierce angel who turns up to restore justice and avenge the downtrodden in times of great trouble and distress (like now).

Jon Langford is an artist and musician from Wales who has lived and worked in Chicago since 1992. He plays with several bands including the mekons and the Waco Brothers and spends a lot of time sitting alone in his painting studio dreaming of home...
